Concert History

The December 11, 2001 Aerosmith concert was cancelled due to illness in the band, but I had tickets and even went all the way down to St. Louis.
The April 18, 2008 Def Leppard (w/ REO Speedwagon + Styx) concert was postponed due to illness in the band (Joe & Phil) and rescheduled (with Billy Idol) in August 2008.
The November 10, 2009 Def Leppard (w/ Man Raze + Cheap Trick) concert was cancelled due to personal issues (burnout & Joe becoming a father).
The August 20, 2010 concert was supposed to be headlined by Cheap Trick, but heavy rain and storms cut Blondie’s set short and cancelled Cheap Trick all together.
The September 30, 2010 Stone Temple Pilots concert was cancelled due to Scott Weiland falling off the wagon. Again.
The July 15, 2011 Def Leppard (w/ Heart) concert was postponed due to the passing of Joe Elliott’s father and rescheduled for July 28, 2011.
I had tickets to see Brett Scallions of Fuel perform a solo acoustic show at The Firebird in St. Louis, MO on February 15, 2015, but did not make the concert due to a heavy snowstorm that struck the evening of the show.
I had tickets to see Tesla (w/ The Cringe) at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO on February 7, 2017 but did not make the concert due to a blowing a tire on the drive to the show.
The 2020 (and early 2021) concert season was decimated by the coronavirus pandemic. It wiped out a slew of shows beginning in March 2020 and resulted in so many cancellations that I created an entirely separate page to document what happened:

I had tickets to see Steel Panther (w/ Moon Fever) at The Factory in St. Louis, MO on December 17, 2023, but did not make the concert due to a funeral.

VENUE NOTES

Riverport Amphitheater in St. Louis, MO became known as the UMB Bank Pavilion in 2002. It then changed to Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in 2007 and then Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in 2015.
The Mark of the Quad Cities in Moline, IL became known as iWireless Center in 2007.
Verizon Wireless Music Center in Indianapolis, IN became known as Klipsch Music Center in 2012. It then changed to Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in 2018.
First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Chicago (Tinley Park), IL became known as Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in 2015. It then changed to Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in 2023.
Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, IL became known as Bank Of Springfield Center in June 2017.
Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO became known as Enterprise Center in July 2018.
Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO became known as T-Mobile Center in July 2020.
